This was the first year that the Direct Selling of the Middle East Award was included under the Direct Selling Festival. The event was opened by His Excellency Mohammed Ahmed Bin Abdul Aziz Al Shehi, Director General of the UAE and the Minister of Economy, who, as part of his speech, continued in supporting the government who accepted all enterprises of the direct sales industry and congratulated all active participants in this industry. This year, the most important award for "Outstanding Management" went to the DXN company and Mr. NK Jijith, the Manager of the enterprise in the United Arab Emirates.
DXN is one of the largest Asian companies with more than four million sales partners in all parts of the world. The company was founded by Dr. Lim Siow Jin. Among many products of nature, the global multi-billion dollar company is mainly focused on a special mushroom from Malaysia, the Lingzhi, also known as Reishi. The names Reishi or Ling Zhi (Ganoderma lucidum) mean "divine mushroom of immortality". This fungus has been used for healing methods in China and Japan for over 4000 years. Among other things, it has a blood pressure lowering, cholesterol-lowering and antithrombotic effect, which has repeatedly been confirmed scientifically.
DXN is exemplary in all countries, and maintains to be the only company in the Middle East, or in any country of the Emirates, to have a separate office and a shop in which members of the DXN network can pick up products at any time. 
Therefore, it was a special honor for OBTAINER President and Founder, Michael Sander, to be invited along to the “Celebration Award” with other distinguished guests from India and Saudi Arabia, all of whom cut the Award-cake.
