A Loss in the MonaVie Family: Darrell Utterbach dead |
 |
Darrell Utterbach, Royal Black Diamond at MonaVie, died during the night
to the 1st September. Dallin A. Larsen, Founder and CEO of MonaVie,
addressed himself with the following letter to the MonaVie-Family, which
the OBTAINER publishes completely: “It is with profound sadness that I
communicate to you the passing of Darrell Utterbach, Royal Black Diamond
distributor, MonaVie Distributor Advisory Board member, loving family
man, and dear friend and colleague. Darrell passed away unexpectedly
last night (MST) while conducting business in Seoul, Korea. |

Vorwerk recognized with “red dot Award“ |
 |
Vorwerk can look forward to an award for the design of the 2009 annual
report. 15 judges reviewed and evaluated the 6,369 submitted
applications of which only close to 10% were given the “red dot Award“.
Since 1995 the “Design Zentrum Nordrhein-Westfalen“ in Essen has been
honouring outstanding design. Today, the red dot Award is one of the
world’s leading and largest design competitions. In three categories,
the “red dot award: product design“,“red dot award: communication
design“ and “red dot award: design concept“, about 13,000 submissions
are being reviewed by the judges every year. |

USANA launches first nutritional supplements with hybrid technology |

At this year’s USANA International Convention from August 25-28, the company was one of the first nutritional supplement manufacturers to introduce a product that is utilizing the so-called “hybrid technology”. XanGo starts anew in Germany with “Reserva” |

“XanGo Germany is strong and competent,” stated XanGo’s management
during a news release, with which the company has recently reacted to a
business rival’s newsletter, who under the title “XanGo-Juice in Germany
is finished” wanted to dedicate a farewell song to the company from
Lehi in Utha. In actual fact the real truth is that merely the new
XanGo Reserva is taking on the heritage of the original XanGo-Juice,
with which the company had originally written its initial world-wide
success story – see the OBTAINER front-page story from issue 7/2010. |

Claudia Harteneck-Kohl leaves Herbalife |

The “Herbalife International Germany GmbH” experienced a change in
personnel. Mrs. Harteneck-Kohl resigned from her lastly-held position
as country director for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Herbalife
confirmed this news and forwarded the following statement to the
OBTAINER editorial office: “Herbalife can confirm that Claudia
Harteneck-Kohl has resigned from her position of country director for
Germany, Austria and Switzerland. |

Synergy Worldwide continues on the road to success |

Shortly, the European Summit of the U.S.-American company Synergy
Worldwide is going to take place in Europe. But the company is also
particularly successful in many Asian countries. Over the past few
months, an enormous growth was especially noticeable in Korea and
Thailand. So what could be more natural than a short stop at the Thai
Synergy office by OBTAINER founder Michael Sander, who was in Bangkok
for a visit as part of a corporate consulting. |

KB Gold once again critized by publically governed television |

Once again the ZDF (Second German Televison Station) broadcasted a
critical report on the company KB Gold. OBTAINER had also published
several critical reports on KB Gold in the past. Now, our founder
Michael Sander surprisingly received the announcement of a visit from
Germany. Dennis Nowak, the most successful networker at the company KB
Gold wanted to provide the OBTAINER founder with his point of view! |

MonaVie counters rumours about marketing plan |

“Therefore we can guarantee that MonaVie’s compensation plan is both
legal and a true financial opportunity for our German distribution
partners”. This was the main statement from an announcement of “MonaVie
LLC“, with which the US company responded to a blog post by the
well-known “Industry Attorney” Stephan R. Schulenberg on Thursday that
had been causing quite some turbulence in MLM circles and among MonaVie
distributors since Tuesday. |

Joseph Ware appointed new vice president with Nuriche |
 |
The company Nuriche announced that Joseph Ware has been appointed as its
new vice president and he is now in charge of the global expansion of
Nuriche. Beforehand, Joseph Ware was responsible for the operating
business. Momentarily, Nuriche sells its products in Canada and in the
USA. |

Jafra Cosmetics receives Skin Cancer Foundation seal |
 |
The “Jafra Cosmetics International, Inc.” with its head office in
Westlake Village, California and which has been a member of the
outwork-group since 2004 announced that the product range “Men’s Skin
Care” has received the renowned Skin Cancer Foundation seal. The
independent institute only awards this internationally recognized seal
to skincare products that contain a sun protection factor of at least
15. Jafra now has more than 100 cosmetic and skincare products that
have won the seal. |

Tehran prohibits Oriflame |
 |
Authorities in Iran have prohibited Oriflame’s business activities in
their country and arrested three executives among which there is thought
to be a Swedish citizen. The Iranian Oriflame office in Tehran was
closed on Sunday August 22 2010. The three people were arrested without
being given a specific reason so that Oriflame is not in the position
to provide any information on the background of the authority’s
decision. |

With Lennon Ledbetter XanGo won another marketing icon as a distributor.
There can be no better term for Lennon Ledbetter since he ranks among
the most well-known and highest-earnest networkers worldwide. Ledbetter
is the founder of the famous ”Team Builders Global”. Naturally, the CEO
and founder of XanGo, Aaron Garrity, is very happy about this addition
to the team of XanGo distributors that has by now grown to over 1
million distribution partners in 35 countries worldwide:”We are very

PM International hands over big cheque for children |

On the first PM International AG Family-Day – OBTAINER is going to
report in detail about this event that attracted several thousand PM
distribution partners on July 17th, 2010 at the area of the Hockenheim
airport – funds for a good cause were raised as well. The association
“Das kunterbunte Kinderzelt e.V.“ (the colourful children’s tent) was
one of the partners for the PM-Family-Day. By now, PM-International
founder and chairman Rolf Sorg, together with the PM Charity
Representative Beate Schmitt, was able to provide the association with a
cheque of a total amount of EUR 5,000. |

Lyoness is celebrating its premiere. Company management, distributors
and their guests will all travel to Bratislava on September 18th for the
highlight of the company’s event, the “Lyoness Sensation”. The capital
of Slovakia, with its historical character, baroque palaces and churches
as well as various parks and lakes, is a particularly beautiful
location for a top-class international event. The event’s agenda
certainly does the name “sensation” every justice. |

Scentsy Inc. on the list of “Top 100 Direct Sales Companies“ |

Scentsy Inc., one of the fastest growing direct selling companies, has
made it to number 64 on the list of the global “Top 100 Direct Sales
Companies“. With revenues of U.S. $178.4 mm in 2009 it has almost
tripled its sales compared to the previous year. The top 100 list is
being published annually in the Direct Selling News of the Direct
Selling Association (DSA). The companies listed range from sales of more
than 10 billion dollars (Number 1) to 67 million dollars. |

DubLi – A Series of Success |

Once again over 1000 guests and distribution partners accepted
invitations from Thomas Schmitz and Jörg Wittke, the founders of the
“All Stars United Team”, and made their way to Bad Soden in Taunus
(Germany) for the third DubLi day. The founder of DubLi, Michael Hansen,
was once again present on August 15th and himself, Steve Olds and Brack
Jaskey informed those present about DubLi’s successful concept, which
combines e-commerce, social community and network marketing in an
extremely unique way, with their contributions on the day. |

QNet‘s NSS in Abu Dhabi A Complete Success |

In the beginning of August, the company QNet started the “Network
Seminar Series“ (NSS) in the entire Middle East. This series of events
is supposed to give the IRs, as the QNet distribution partners are
called, more security. Several times over the last few years, QNet made
the headlines since the company looks back on unique successes that
caught the interest of different governments in the Middle East. |

Spirit of Optimism among XanGo Distributors in Mexico |

The founders Kent Wood and Dr. Morton returned excited from their short
visit to Mexico. On Friday, August 6th, Kent Wood and Dr. Morton met
with many executives and distributors at a pre-meeting. Already then,
both of them felt how big the enthusiasm for XanGo is in Mexico. The sea
of distributors and visitors already showed beforehand what would be
going on the next day at the actual event in Culiacán: In the rented
room in Mexico City, reserved for originally 400 people, an actual 680
people were present. |
