It seems that Youngevity never lets much time roll by without announcing something big. This time it’s new leadership appointments in the home office of their ever-expanding MLM empire. Those newly appointed executives include a new President, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Vice President of Distributor Relations and Training (VPDRT).

Following a lengthy and rigorous product approval process, Youngevity International has finally received State approval to sell their core nutritional product, 90 For Life, in the huge market of Russia. Youngevity has been in the Russian market for a few months already but the 90 For Life is their main product and was, of course, considered critical to their success.

It appears that Youngevity, often noted for its voracious and relentless program of growth by acquisitions, has a new brand… JEC Healthy Living. But there is one familiar face. In a recent press release from what we assume is actually Youngevity headquarters in Los Angeles, CA., although the press release refers to JEC Healthy Living as the source, JEC says they’re now ‘unveiling the range of Youngevity products’ which, based on the pictures, clearly include at least two well-known Youngevity products, i.e. Tangy Tangerine and Triple Threat Chocolate.

Youngevity’s Be The Change Foundation (YBTC) has rallied the huge international Youngevity distributor force to participate in raising approximately US$100K so far in 2015 for victims of tragic and unfortunate disasters of all kinds around the world. Youngevity raises this money by contributing 100% of the profits from sales of certain of their items designated as YBTC products.

We’ve always admired Youngevity’s brilliant and constantly unfolding acquisition strategy and now they've done it again with the acquisition of Mialisia and its unique, patent-pending line of jewelry. Although originally known as a nutritional products company, Youngevity early on its growth got into the coffee business and has done very well with a diverse, horizontally and vertically integrated coffee product line. Youngevity sells coffee through both its captive MLM distribution network but also through a variety of traditional retail, and wholesales channels.

A federal judge says Young Living Essential Oils (YLEO), the essential oils company, deserves their ‘day in court’ in their claim that market rival doTERRA (DT) engaged in company initiated efforts to steal distributors and product secrets. It’s been a long process working up to this moment but the case has now been scheduled for a hearing. Young Living and doTERRA are two of the largest MLM companies in the essential oils market. In this case, former and current executives of Young Living Essential Oils are suing its competitor, doTERRA, on claims that DT violated contracts and confidentiality agreements between the two companies.
